INFINITY
Necklace, Drawing on Fabric, 2023
The fingers move. The branches are intertwined. Two infinite shapes rotate around the neck. The days pass and we are at the center of the game of life.
BODY PIECES
Cuff|Collar, Marker on Fabric, 2021
I drew on fabric instead of paper. The fabric is flexible, and its shape can change. These pieces are wearable, so their relationship with the viewer shifts and creates a new atmosphere.
Design is not just a part of the creative process; it is a complete artwork. Working with fabric gives me more possibilities to enhance the interactive relationship between the body and the artwork, allowing me to create original, flexible forms.
FROM MY WINDOW
T-shirt|Mask|Collar, Linoleum print, 2020
During the quarantine, drawing helped me live in the present moment, release my anxiety and concerns, reflect on the role and situation of human beings in this world, and prepare to face an uncertain future.
I drew whatever I saw from my room window.
Through drawing, I expressed the relationship between my inner world and the outer world.
I am sharing with you my drawing from the window, which I hand-printed on the mask.
We live today to the fullest and look forward to tomorrow.
THE PRECIOUS HAND
Necklace, Wood & Fabric, 2018
“Precious Hands” was created to appreciate the value of the bijoux at the Casalmaggiore Museum. Drawing is a way to observe things closely and truly understand them. Our hands also help us touch and interact with our world. Both our eyes and hands come together to highlight the historical value of the artwork.
ROOT
Necklace, Drawing & Sewing on Fabric, 2019
This piece is inspired by my friendship with a dear friend from the Czech Republic. The inspiration comes from meeting someone with whom I was able to communicate despite language and cultural barriers.
It made me reflect on how everything in this world is interconnected. Using hands to embody the human being, I aim to show that we are not separate; instead, we communicate and touch the soul of the world.
SILENT COMUNICATION-HAND III
Brooch, Fabric, 2019
The hand identifies itself as both a key and a symbol of the exceptional nature of the human being. Gestures of the hand typically emerge by the end of the first year of life, marking the beginning of silent communication, which precedes the emergence of language. This fabric brooch captures the essence of how the hand acts as both a sign and a tool of signification. Through its form and material, it becomes an emblem of self-awareness and non-verbal communication.
SILENT COMUNICATION-HAND II
Scarf, Fabric, 2018
The hand identifies itself as both a key and a symbol of the exceptional nature of the human being. Hand gestures typically emerge in the first year of life, starting a silent form of communication before language develops. This fabric scarf, as it wraps around the body, becomes a metaphor for how the hand acts as a bridge between two people, connecting them without the need for words. Its design reflects the deeper connection between individuals through silent communication.
SILENT COMUNICATION-HAND I
T-shirt, Fabric, 2018
The hand identifies itself as both a key and a symbol of the exceptional nature of the human being. The gestures of the hand typically emerge by the end of the first year of life, and the period of silent communication begins before the emergence of language.
The hand, as both a sign and an instrument of signification, reveals much about our complex consciousness and can aid us in the journey of self-awareness.
Aristotle said that the hand is the most symbolic part of the body because we can also speak with our hands. Hands bridge the space between two people and write words on each other’s skin.
The T-shirt (the second skin), as an iconic statement of fashion, is a garment for speaking and communicating, creating a new space between people.
SILENT COMUNICATION-EYES III
T-shirt, Drawing on Fabric, 2018
Sometimes the world leaves us speechless. There are moments when so many things happen that we are left stunned. We retreat into ourselves to reflect. However, in this silence and solitude, the desire to explore and communicate, both with ourselves and the world around us, is born.
SILENT COMUNICATION-EYES II
T-shirt, Drawing on Fabric, 2018
Through the eyes, we communicate without words, expressing emotions and intentions in a silent yet powerful way. The exchange of glances can create an unspoken connection, transcending language and bridging the gap between people.
SILENT COMUNICATION-EYES I
T-shirt, Drawing on Fabric, 2018
Looking inward and trying to understand every hidden aspect of our character will help us get to know ourselves better.
