THE MIRROR & I
October 2024: 31 days, self-portrait in the mirror in 15 minutes
Is there anything more important than our relationship with ourselves in this world? The root of all darkness and evil lies in people who are not at peace with themselves. You cannot be well and do so much harm to others. Look in the mirror.

BEAUTIFUL MIND
Painting on fabric, 10x18x9 cm, 2022
Beautiful thoughts flourish and extend within us. Who we are, regardless of our gender, is a reflection of our inner world.
SEEN OR UNSEEN
Fabric & Thread, 2018-2020
According to psychoanalysis, every behavior, reality, or psychological phenomenon has specific causes that can be clearly identified if we shed light on the deep and mysterious area of our psyche known as the unconscious.
Sometimes we are aware of the reasons for our behavior, but other times, they remain hidden. Who are we? The one we can see, or the one we cannot see? The closed eyes look within.

ADOPTATION
Necklace & brooch, Fabric, Wood & Thread, 2018
It’s about how we embrace life. Our inner feelings and outer being are constantly evolving. Each of us is an incomplete work of art. Every experience we undertake and every challenge we face is meant to perfect us, because, in this work of art, humanity is constantly seeking perfection.
HOME
Acrylic on Newspaper & Canvas, 2014
After a year, I returned home, but it was no longer the safe and warm place I had expected. I felt like a stranger, homeless. This work is about a house that was no longer my home.

SELF PORTRAIT
2010-2024
I started drawing portraits of myself by looking in the mirror to learn how to draw. After that, I began expressing my feelings through my drawings. These days, whenever I make an important decision or start a new chapter in my life, I sketch. In fact, these drawings are my commitments and promises to myself.
FRIENDS & ACQUAINTANCES
2020-2022
By capturing a person’s face, I can preserve their memory. I am deeply curious to explore the inner world of others, and drawing portraits gives me the opportunity to connect with the true essence of people.

PAREIDOLIA PORTRAIT
Drawing & Photo Collage, 2017
I look not only at the pavement but also at the walls of the city. This is part of my research into identity within society. Technically, I identify the form of a face, take a photo, draw a portrait on paper, and finally combine them in Photoshop.
SHADOW
Photo Collage, 50×70 cm, 2008
I chose photos that appeared mysterious and obscure, then I tried to conceal them even more. I wanted to express the dark side of our personality—the parts that are obscure and unknown to us. How much does our face reveal our true personality? How much do we want to show? How much do we really know about ourselves?
